Recipe: Anasazi Beans and Smoked Ham Hocks




Amount Ingredient
cup(s)  *anasazi beans; cooked, cooled and drained
small  onion, minced 
4-5  clove(s)  garlic, minced 
1/2  pound(s)  brown sugar 
12  ounce(s)  ketchup 
ounce(s)  prepared mustard 
ounce(s)  Worcestershire sauce 
    salt and pepper 
  smoked ham hocks 

    Directions:

    Saute the onions & garlic until translucent. Add the brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a brisk boil for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add beans and bring to a boil. Adjust the seasoning, place in a covered baking dish and arrange ham hocks on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 1 hour. Remove the cover and bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
