Recipe: Blue Corn Meal Dumplings




Amount Ingredient
Cup(s)  *blue corn meal 
1/2  Teaspoon(s)  salt 
Teaspoon(s)  baking powder 
10  Ounce(s)  soft tofu 

    Directions:

    Combine the corn meal, salt and baking powder. Mix well. In a blender beat the tofu until it has reached a creamy consistency. Add the soft tofu to the corn meal mixture and mix thoroughly. Cook the dumplings by dropping them by rounded tablespoons into boiling soup or thin stew. The dumplings should cook for 10 minutes. These dumplings are wonderful with bean soups.
